COILS?
 

might be looking at LA kits and thus considering new coils.

what are you all running, do you like it?

ive got RE currently and billys5100s which pair well to me thus far. I think ide spring for OME if they made taller springs but 3.5 seems max for their xj line up. if i did new coils i dont want dual rate like metal cloak stuff.


does anyone have experience with Ironman america? i just stumbled upon these and have never heard anything on them.

-Spacer- meh, not super great
-RE 4.5-5.5, 5.5 is a bit tall, 4.5-5 is better, probably need a spacer on the shock if i went this big.
- PAC, new site doesnt give dimensions, sigh, $$$ higher priced to

I've run 4.5" RE coils and 5.5" RE coils with long arms. The 4.5" seemed a little softer and didn't control the Jeep as well as I'd like, but with the 5.5" I can bomb down trails at a decent speed with no issue. With my current set up I have 12" 5100s in the front and 10" 5100s in the rear and it works pretty well. Thinking if I went with some of the boostwerks shackles and some shock towers I could get a decent bit more travel out of the rear. I'd have to do some flexing and measuring before figuring the shocks out though. Anyway, that's my long arm/spring story if any of it helps.

What size leafs and what shackles. I am leaning toward RE coils again, theyve always been well spoken for xjs.
I have 3.5 now that seems big when new, did the 5.5s sit up to the moon?

I didn't get them new, so not sure how they would sit new. I have 4.5" leaf springs with 1.25" RE shackles. I have the HD offroad no lift relocation boxes too.
