Default coil spacers

When I bought my Jeep it came with some sketchy homemade coil spacers and i don't have it in the budget to buy bigger springs. I'm going to buy some poly coil spacers and I wanted to know if 3" is too big for a coil spacer or should I just go with a 2"? Or should I just spend $10 and get a 3"? Is there any cons to a 3" coil spacer?

3" is the max I'd go and don't stack a 2" and 1" get a true 3" puck.
