Little background info to start
99 4.0 aw4 re long arm full pack sye chry 8.25 3.55s locked rear

So I have had a bad pinion bearing in the rear since I bought the heep. I learned this from what I've read online. I have a humming sound that starts at about 30mph and it goes away when I let off the gas. When I pulled the rear driveshaft and drove on the front the whine was gone.

So I recently purchased a chry 8.25 w/ 27spline(I know slight downgrade) 4.56 gears and a Detroit locker. I want to go through it entirely including a disc swap. I've read some on the disc swap and it seems like its something I can do. Here is a pic of it the gears look like they have nice wear some slight rust on te carrier but it can be cleaned.
So you've read all that here's what I need to know. Is this something I can do with some basic tools and knowledge with a chiltons?
Is there a specific marking for "yukon" gears?
