Does anybody know how to fix the smittybuilt tire carrier from rattling when just driving down the road? It never did it until I got my full sized spare and put it on and now it rattles like crazy. My friend has the same bumper but doesn't rattle nearly as bad.

 

I added in some more rubber bumpers to stop it .but it does get harder to close the tire carrier .

 

Is your tailpipe hitting it?
Mine did, and I had to cut it at the very end, then put on one of those shineese turn downs.

But yeah there will always be a bit of rattle just from the tire carrier. It sticks out so far, that gravity will make it wear a little more too.

 

My tail pipe definitely isn't hitting it and I'm sure it will rattle a little. I just wanna find out why mine rattles way more then my friends
