Cherokee rear brake line 5" lift
Can I run my stock line for now. I have all other suspension parts and ready to relocate the front lines. But I don't have my rear line yet due to financial hold backs. Please any help other than WAIT FOR THE REAR LINE would be very helpful. other than the YJ rear brake line which is a little longer (XJ length - 14.5", YJ length 16.375") any other matches that are longer. If I got it from Napa I have to get it from the mainland so it would take too long. So any other applications I should know of?

I have a skyjacker extended rear line for $20 shipped, unless going to other than usa, just pm address and i will see for ya.

I am at 5.5" of lift and have all stock brake lines...you should be fine for now unless you are doing serious flexing
Sent from my iPad using CherokeeFM |
the cheapest: break line relocation, if poss. or, second cheapest, hit the JY for some longer ones off a ?wrangler?

'95-00 Dodge Durango rear line is like 6" longer than stock.

Use the lines for a '90-95 GM C1500 for the front. If I remember correctly they are about 6" longer also.

95 YJ lines are direct swap and will work fine to about 6" lift
|
The Durango and GM lines are direct swap too.

I'm at 4" in the rear and I dont want to flex it or it will come off. I have Rustys stainless lines waiting to go in so I'll wait rather than risk it

Pm Grimus, he's the resident RC vendor. I got an extended Stainless brake line for 22$
Otherwise gen2 dakota rear line or 89-95? YJ rear line, 6" longer. |
^^ this. I got F/R extended lines for like $20 something

Thanks everyone for your help! But I kept doing more research and found out that the stock rear brake line for a '91 Dodge Dakota will work perfectly and is about 22" so thats alot better than the stock 14" I went and got it from Napa since I work there and I'm now ready to jack my Jeep up another 3 inches from the already installed 2 inch coil spacer/block lift :)
