It's not noisy inside the cabin, and even makes me a bit mad that it makes all of the grunt on the outside but none on the cabin...

We all make mistakes man. We definitely appreciate it when you own up to them and correct them quickly like that though... stick around, we need more people that do that.

This is my Jeep Cherokee Sport. It is a 93 High Output Cherokee. Straight pipe with only the cat on the exhaust. Sounds amazing. Will be making another clip of it but better in the next month or so. But here it is as of last weekish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IsD-...ature=youtu.be

Sounds awesome. The Flowmaster 50 is a great choice for some sound and tone while not being over the top. I'd recommend 2.25" tubing for anybody looking to replicate because I think I lost some torque when I went up to 2.5".

I don't have any hard data to say I lost power but I notice it when ascending long hills on the highway. On the other side, the 2.5" definitely has a deeper tone than 2.25" and it sounds great.

Slower exhaust velocity. The same amount of exhaust flows through a larger area at a slower speed. The slower speed lessens the scavenging effect so the motor loses some torque to pushing the exhaust out of the cylinder more than it had to previously. That's my very basic understanding of it.

I could be wrong but seem to remember the 50 has an OEM 2-1/4" input.
If so, could the 2.5" to 2-1/4" reducer be part of it?
Don't know, just throwing that out there.
Seen a Utube video about how the Flowmaster 50's baffling system is supposed to help increase exhaust scavenging but it could be it was tweaked for OEM plumbing.
