Check engine light on after snorkel install.
I have a 99 xj 4.0. Last night I installed a cheap Chinese snorkel and today when I started my jeep my check engine light came on. Any ideas on what it could be? I used a quick set epoxy to attach the connector to my air filter box, then sealed around the edges with black silicone. Would the fumes from that affect an o2 sensor? Or could it be something else

Really need to know which code was triggered. Can have code retrieved for free at Autozone or the like.

Cam Shaft Position Sensor codes.
If the motor runs alright (no rough running, power loss, difficult start, stalls), maybe it's just the sensor, or the wires to the sensor. That'd be my thought. I'm no expert though.
