What bigger alternator from a full size truck can I put in a 88 Cherokee inline6 I need more power

Try searching. I believe the grand Cherokee has an alternator that's almost perfect fit. Little grinding and it will fit. Not sure of what model or engine. But again try searching.

Definitely worth a look and the zj v8 alternators are 136 amps I believe not all of them are that high ..so you have to check serial numbers when you pull them. Also depends on how many amps you want

True. I don't know the details of which alternators fit what. But I'm on here enough and have read enough to know there are alternators that fit our 4.0's from grands. But a few minutes searching here or even Google should yield some more detailed information.

Also Jay, that budget build thread I linked you to doesn't have everything you can use listed.. So do some research! I've found other things I can use for my jeep that is not listed on that list but it has a lot to start with
