Are you wanting to paint the stock flares and cladding? Or do you want to paint the actual fenders, quarters, and cladding?

I was wanting to paint the flares and cladding. Would painting or Dipping it black look good also with dipped wheels?

I'm sure it would. I've never plasti-dipped anything before, but you can find some write ups by doing a google search.

You can try something like Krylon Fusion which is paint intended for use on plastic. They say no prep is required according to their site. I was going to try it on my trim and bumper caps when it got warmer out.

Oh heck no! I think we're supposed to be -20 with the wind chill today in my neck of the woods. You can find some good write ups on painting your wheels on google as well, both with spray paint and plasti-dip. I wish I could remember the build I was reading last week, the guy did a lot of work with plasti-dip on his rig and it turned out really nice.

Well if you can find the build I would love to read into it. Also the high for New Years is like 10 degrees.

An unmolested Country is about to get molested.

It's a sad day.

I hate the wheels but the green and tan looks good together.

Lots of nice Jeeps have their day. I know what I did to my '86 probably hurt a few hearts as well, but at least I enjoy it.

Here's a write up I found: http://www.wranglerforum.com/f27/pla...ls-128388.html

I think this is the build I was reading: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/20...-style-154572/

Im not going to make it look terrible i just want it to be taller, black and green, and better wheels. I only plan on putting a 3 inch lift.

And what you expect from a 18 year old?

Do you think it would be better to do a flat black or gloss black so match with the glossy green?

If you can find a semi-gloss paint, it would probably look the best. I use semi-gloss on my '86 all the time and it looks good next to the factory paint.
