Centering everything
Alright, so I was able to move my trans over on its mount to straighten my motor mounts out a bit. Now they aren't so badly out of line but they are still not perfect. Plus I am getting a lot of vibration in park and neutral, and even more in gear. Tim at Brown Dog Industries has been helping me and told me my driveline needs to be perfectly centered. Here is my issue: when I had the trans mount unbolted I could barely move it over to get my driveshaft perfectly centered even with a large crowbar. Tim told me to do some measurements on everything and see if my output shaft of the transfer case is perfectly centered as well as the rear of the driveshaft. I will be doing all of the measurements tomorrow when I get to the shop. I take Tim's advice very highly but I just wanted to hear more opinions on this issue from those who can help.
Here are a few pictures of where I am at now. Right now the shaft is not centered (further to the passenger side than driver side) but I do not have exact measurements, I'm guessing it's an inch off. Anyway when I had it unbolted yesterday I took a few pics. The first two are of the trans mount and the bolts under it are exactly where I bolted into. I could not push it anymore to the driver side not only because the t case was hitting but even if I lowered it and took the bolts out of the bottom of the trans mount I could hardly push it any more. It just didn't want to move any more. The mount pics are where I am at now.
Pass side
Driver side
Tim said the entire assembly may need to be pushed up forward more to fit correctly. I am running an aftermarket crossmember and I prolong the holes a bit more like he says, I was just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue before.
Thanks a ton for any help, this entire thing has turned out to be such a pain in the ***, I just want to get it figured out and set up correctly.

At the shop now, grabbed some pictures:
The width is 31".
38" wide taken from the outside of the frame. It was at about 17".
One thing I may not have mentioned is that the truck has an 8.8 Ford rear end. Measurements are above, just having trouble figuring out where this trans should be and how it should be aligned with the driveshaft since the rear end is off centered. Again, any help would be great.

Yea I'm no expert but just from looking at them the trans (and prolly the motor too) Are pointing towards the passenger side and the case is pointing towards the drivers side.
So I would thing that where the tcase meets the trans might be you're problem. If the case was crooked where it mounts to the trans (which I couldn't guess why it would be, not tight enough? Bent?) When you force it over to mount on the cross member it would pivot the engine and trans which is why they're are crooked.
This is all speculation. But I would look at the tcase/trans connection/seal area...

i didnt read anything. whats wrong here? just bolt everything back up in the stock location, the fact that the 8.8 is slightly offset means nothing with a double cardon rear shaft.

The issue is that I am having a bunch of driveline vibration and I want to get everything aligned the way it should be. So far the engine is sitting too far back on the mounts and the t-case is sitting at a weird angle. I was just mentioning that I have an 8.8 in case it had anything to do with centering the trans/t-case.

the mounts arent causing vibes. bolt everything up with new mounts in the factory spots and go from there. start pulling driveshafts, swapping tires front to back, etc.

The vibrations are at rest. They are little to none once it gets moving. It vibrates at idle in park and neutral, then vibrates worse in gear while stopped or slightly moving.

that means you have to bolt the trans mount back into the crossmember or replace your trans mount because its warn out. mine needs to be replaced and gives me the same vibs you have.

also make sure your engine mounts are on the correct sides. in your pics they show different part numbers. and from when i replaced my engine mounts 2 years ago. they were not the same and were side specific
