Default Cb radio setup help

hey guys, going to start with the cb stuff.

probably gonna get a cheap $40 cobra cb radio, but honestly im not sure what antenna to get, how big, and how much cable to get to run it to the mount. probably gonna get one of xj firefighters tail light mounts https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f74/tai...ntenna-155240/

so yeah. antenna suggestions? i plan on using some type of spring on the mount from xjfirefighter.
and also how much cable to get to go to the taillight?

thanks.

Get a 4' fire stick, spring mount and a 12 foot cable.

Mount the CB between the visors and run the cable under the headliner from the back to the front.

Done.

I couldn't tell you. All I know is that it works. I like that it doesn't get all bent up and don't have to worry about it falling off the roof...

I have a 4 foot on my trail Jeep and a 3 foot on my DD Jeep. Both work just fine.

You have a lot of options for setting up a CB, figure out what works for your needs.
