cb mount under climate control?
I was wondering if I could put my CB in place of the vent under the radio and climate control. Anyone done this? Or see problems with it? Merry Christmas everyone

can be a 97 up cause we gont have vents there lol.
if you do that youll need an external speaker... mounter under or on dash or pillar. you wont hear clearly with it inside the dash.

i have that set up right now. i like it. mines the little midland though and it goes in stock hole between the visor clips. i didnt use the clip holes (i dont have headliner so it was easy to see em. and run the wires through that metal area so its all hidden.

fat chance of getting the cobra 29 Ltd in there as mentioned the frame behind will interfere, if your set on mounting there you will need something smaller.
with the bigger radios in cherokees your kinda restricted to the passenger side of the transmission hump, smaller radios allow a lot more options for mounting
