Default caster angle

hey guys just got an alignment and the guy asked why i wasnt running my front shaft i told him because my pinion angle was off and he told me it looked fine and that my caster was within specs i have 7.5* on the right and 7.6* on the left but then total caster i have 2* does this sound right?? i have 6.5 in lift on 33s with adjustable lowers and uppers. reason i dont run the front shaft was due to vibes. do you think i should adjust the uppers out more?

Bring the caster down a bit. 5 to 7 degrees is ideal. Tons of people have no vibes at that height. If it doesnt get better i would balance the front shaft. You can dial in your caster with an angle finder and adjusting your control arms yourself.

Now to lower the caster I adjust the uppers out correct?

Yes. Carefully.

It would be easier to raise the Jeep by the body tho.

What's the easiest way to get the bolt to line up after I adjust them.

I would disconnect one of the arms and dial in the caster with the other. Then make the disconnected arm long enough to bolt in place.

But the axle won't be pushed out far enough will it to line up the holes
