Does anyone know for sure (100%) whether a 99 Cherokee Sport carpet would fit in a 94 Cherokee Sport? Trying to find out before making a 2 hour drive. Thanks

No, it will not. They changed the floor contours in, I think, 97. I tried this swap once, carpet and seats, and found out it was all different. The seat mounting brackets are entirely different.

OK, very important question. I have a shot at a carpet from a 93 Grand Cherokee. Would that fit my 94 Cherokee Sport? I know the era was the same for the Cherokee's, but is the Grand Cherokee and Cherokee Sport interchangeable or was the floor pattern different? It wouldn't make sense for car manufacturer to make two distinct floor patterns when they can keep the inside the same and just change the outside looks (but when does things make sense??!). Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

I know the frame rails of the grand Cherokee are about 3 inches wider. Not sure about the carpet but I would be that is different also.

GC will not fit in an XJ....Im just guessing, but a GC is bigger, wider etc.
