It is for component door speakers. One goes to the 6.5 and the other output to the tweeter, like it says. It is a crossover.

ya its worth keeping it will make door speakers sound crisper and makes tweeters able to be mounted anywhere

radio wires - input, then out to tweeter from tweeter, and out to speaker from woofer.

this only controls one component, so hopefully you have 2 of these. there should be 2, one for each front door (in most setups)

It will only be worth having if you hav some components that are missing the crossover(s) really. If you were to put that on a full range speaker it would sound worse.

Most component kits come with those anyways unless it is some DIY budget kit like maybe Robot Underground sells. And even then, you have to hope it is crossed over at the right frequencies for the mid bass and tweeter that you get.
