Cali Engine Swap
So I'm thinking about doing an engine swap from my renix to an 91-96ish ho since my head gasket is blown and I don't want to pull it to find a cracked block. And then maybe even throwing a 99+ intake manifold on it since I'd be there. I'd convert the ho throttle body over for the renix tps and all that stuff. What I really want to know is since I'm in California home of the smog check bi-annually and in 91 they removed the egr valve. If I do this swap is that going to make it so I can't pass the visual inspection??
