C 8.25 Brake upgrade?

Model: Cherokee (XJ)
Engine: 4.0L I6 H.O.
C 8.25 Brake upgrade?
I plan to purchase a c8.25 axle (have D35 now), lock it, and gear it. But after the mountain trails, I wouldn't mind putting upgraded brakes on it also, since the drums on the D35, well blow.
I'm wondering what's the best way to go about upgrading the C8.25 to disc brakes? I lurk the forums reasonably hard, and I haven't really found a proper answer yet. Any vehicles I could just pull an already disc braked c8.25 from?
Before the term Dana44 gets brought up, if I can find one of those for a decent price, then yeh, I would get one. But I am aiming for a c8.25 price and trying not to overkill the 31"s I have.

Engine: 12 hole bosch Injectors
if you have the single diaphram brake booster up grade to the double your brakes will improve greatly
