Default busted leaf spring clamp pin question.

so i got my 4.5" lift springs today from rough country, and unfortunately one of the spring clamps has a sheered off pin and now floats around the leafs.

question is: can I fix is easily, or do I need to send it back?
thanks guys!

Be safe, send it back. They will replace it for free

nothing, the springs will still work the same, the clip will just float around. Its up to you what you do, though I think I would just fix it myself

That clamp keeps the leaf springs from sliding side to side. Im not saying it will, but it is possible that after a while the springs could start to separate, and eventually fail. This would be bad on a trail, or at 60 MPH on the highway.

If I were you I would call RC and see what they have to say, or what they can do for you. They should replace it for free, which could save you a lot of headache down the road. I'm not trying to tell ya what to do, just my 2 cents.

just buy or make a clamp, not worth the wasted time or shipping cost to ship it back over something you can fix yourself for $5 and 5 mins.

just my 2 cents, take it or leave it in the tip jar...
