Plus your bumper is much easier to replace if you bust it than your sliders would be.
I've also had an aftermarket winch bumper, which robbed me of a good approach angle (never had an issue though).

What's the condition of your stock rocker panels and stock bumpers? Both of mine suck but I'd rather have a rear Nates bumper first. My stock one is rusting out and is reinforced with duct tape and bedliner lol. My rockers are rutting out from the rear but I don't do rock crawling so those can wait longer.
