Bump stop height...
I went a flexed the jeep this weekend to measure for bumpstop heights, fornt and rear. Well my numbers came back with 6.5 in the front and 8 in the rear. does that seem like too much?
In the front I measured from the metal thingy that the long bumpstop goes into ( inside of the coil ) to the bottom of the spring plate. And for the rear I measured from the spring plate ( Im using DPGoffroad spring plates ) to the unibody.
Does those measurement seem correct?

For the super tall lift you're running, it sounds about right.
I'm running 2" pucks on the bottom and 3" long bump on the top. I still need a few more inches tho.

Also I measured roughly what the hole size is for the front bumpstops. and it seems to be 1.5" ID ( where the piece would go into ) Ihave a 97, but not sure if I need the big or small diameter ones.

After I think about it...
I have 4" bump stops in the factory location in the rear, then I have a piece of 2 x 2 x .25 square tubing welded to the spring plate that the rubber stop contacts. So, I have 6" in the back. I have 3" between the two when it's sitting flat.
Mine measures 9" from the top of the spring plate to the bottom of the unibody directly above the spring plate.
4" stock stops are the tallest I've seen.
You can add a peice of steel tubing between it and the frame if you can run a drill.

Didn't know there was a difference. All my Jeeps use the same stop in the front.

go here ( http://www.rockymountainsusp.com/bumpstops.htm ) and look on the rig at the bottom you can see 97-01 twice. One is big and one is small. I need the diameter of the part that goes into the mount.
