Bump-steer experts needed
I believe I am experiencing "bump-steer". On smooth roads, the XJ drives pretty nice. Once I hit any little rough road or pot hole, the wheel is jerked from my hand. I have had more alignments at more places than I care to discus, no one at these shops seems to really know what is causing this.
Do these draglink/track bar angles look like they could exhibit bump-steer?

well yes his bar is backwards( I dont know how he did that) but the bends in the bar wont effect the over all angle between the two mounts. is that the IRO double sheer? If so their chassis mount drops the mount 5/8ths of an inch from stock causing your angles to be off slightly. On my truck its not even noticeable though. You will though find out real quick that you are going to need to extend your bumpstops so you dont slam that bar into the top of your diff cover. Fun fact the stock cover will take quite a beating from your track bar without denting lol Im running daystar extended bumps plus two hockey pucks and just barley clear it at full stuff. I do have the one for higher lift though I don't know if there are differences between the high and low lift model

"Your track bar is on back wards"-LOL
I laughed so hard when I read that. Funny thing is I posted this exact picture on here before asking the same thing, and no one picked up on it then.
It is a RC trackbar and drop bracket (4-6" under the Jeep Add-on Section of their website). The instruction sheet on their website shows it the same way I have it?
PLease take a look at that and confirm?

can you post up a picture of the whole steering setup. just like the one you already did but to the left a little bit so we can see both knuckles. that way we can draw the imaginary lines between mounts.

I'm surprised to hear people talking about the track bar coming in contact with the diff cover... lol. I've never had that happen. Is it possibly a caster angle thing?

Best pics I could take given this hard to shoot area. I don't have a lift or a work light handy. I hope this gives you a good enough view to check my angles

his track bar is NOT backwards. i have the same one and that is how the instructions have it to be mounted. what he really needs is a drop pitman arm because its just barely off and a drop pitman arm will give him the correct angles.

Have you got a drop pittman arm? I'd start with the drop pittman arm if you don't already have one. Also check out your tie rod ends and bushings.

Looks like a drop pitman arm will make his issue worse, looks like the track bar needs dropped.
