Default budget lift ideas..

So im trying to put together a budget lift to about 4" give or take. Its goi g to be a daily driver.
My question is what do I need to lift an xj besides springs/shackles/spacers, sye or tcase drop? And what should I do for around 500$ im not afraid of pucks or bastard packs but I would like a decent ride. So spring rate is a factor so how would I match the spring rate of a bastard pack to the front coils?

Well if you go bastard pack you will probably need shackles and a transfer case drop which you can make yourself. Im sure there are many threads on it just search.

spring rate is going to depend on what you want different people say diffferent things about coils and what brands are stiffer than others. Really depends on what your looking for.

You will also probably need extended brake lines. cheap way is out of a wrangler yj im pretty sure. im sure you can search it on here to be exact. you will also need a new track bar, shocks and probably sway bar disconnects. hope this helps

At 4" you need longer LCA's. Go to the parts store and get 95 wrangler soft brake lines, they are about 3" longer
