budget lift??
ok. so all the interior rhino lining is done. fender cuts are done. now it's time to lift. I have a 6.5inch coming. but it's in a friends truck right now. so until it's available. I need something. so. I'm gonna bastard pack it. so do I use f150 4x4 front coils. or 2 wheel drive. what year Dakota is best for donors. for the rear. or other options. do I use yj break lines.
what else do I NEED to do. I wanna be safe.

I would do thunderbird/cougar front coils...
depending on which ones you use you will get 3-5" of lift
83-88 TBird, Cougar = more lift
89-97 TBird, Cougar = less lift
Spring ratings:
Front: 223-282 lb./in. 3.8 liter V6 *closest to XJ ratings* these coils are used on the bare bones basic cars
Front: 349-403 lb./in. 3.8 liter SC Loaded with every option, very stiff ride
Front: 270-330 lb./in V8 Medium ride

(1). I'm fairly certain that zr2 leafs are the same as regular, and just have different hangers. And
(2). A thunderchicken is a fire bird/trans am. Not a thunderbird.
Sent from my mind using the rusty stock leafs off my xj.

if you read the tech article there is a total of 3" worth of suspension lift, and a small lift on the body on a ZR2
what I am getting at is those hangers alone do not account for 3" of lift, so the ZR2 rear springs DO add some additional lift compared to the regular springs...
