Brush guard mount question
I scored a free brush guard from an 07 Grand Cherokee. I'm going to modify it to fit my XJ (done all the measurements already, it'll work), but I need a bit of guidance with the mounting part of it.
I looked under the XJ and it the sub frame doesn't appear to be extremely beefy... so I'm assuming most of you with brush guards did some reinforcing?
What do you have to do to mount a brush guard on the front of an XJ?
I don't need a "just buy ________ kit comes with everything you need" type of answer, as this is all custom and will be welded up by a professional roll-cage builder I know.
I just need to know what is required to mount a brush guard to the sub frame on an XJ.
