Default brake lines for after zj disc swap

I did the rear disc conversion a while ago, but I've been doing other stuff at the same time, so now I'm finally getting back to buttoning up everything at the rear. The threads matched but are too long to go all the way in. Do I just have the wrong lines? Where do I get the right lines? I have the XJ lines including the junction box and forward, and the ZJ soft lines and calipers.

The threads don't go all the way in, it is an inverse flare, you just tighten it down until it bottoms out.

Thanks for that. Since they are different lengths, but when I look inside the soft line on the caliper and the junction box they are the same, does it matter whether the long end goes in the junction box or the caliper line?

I doubt it would matter in this instance but I believe the longer one is for the wheel cylinder in a drum brake set up. Sometimes the short one will bottom out before it makes a seal or the wheel cylinder is recessed and the longer one makes it so you can get at it.
