Default Brake conversion for a '90 Cherokee Laredo.

It's got an early form of ABS on it. The vacuum motor growls and the brakes don't work that well.
Can I swap a booster and mastercylinder for conventional power brakes onto this vehicle?
If so; what years and part numbers do I need for a booster and mastercylinder swap?

Thanks.

I suggest you upgrade to this, jy booster can save bucks but a new master would be best theres other info than this but this give you the general idea ,ive done it and have great brakes....http://www.jpmagazine.com/techarticl...des/index.html

I don't have a brake booster now. It looks like the master cylinder bolts to the firewall and vacuum boost is provided by a vacuum motor on the passenger side front fender liner. The two are connected by a hose.
I want to put a brake booster where none was before. The only chance of interference i can see is a heat sheild under the master cylinder.
I will post a picture of my setup tomorrow if it'll help.

Thanks.
