Bondage package installed
I just installed my Warn VR8S winch on my 97XJ with an EAG front winch bumper from eBay. The installation was straightforward and simple. Once I took the fog lights down from their mounts the winch dropped right into place. I ran the power cables up inside the right front fender and out through the hole in the sheet metal next to the battery.. The job only took me about an hour and fifteen minutes, taking my time and hobbling around with a pulled hamstring. I would guess this is about a 45 minute to an hour long job if you work steady at it. I ran in to no snags or problems of any type and would recommend this job to anyone with the slightest amount of mechanical skills.
