bonjour
J'ai un Cherokee XJ de 1995 avec une boîte reperée 52108121 et une boite de transfert NP231
Je peux monter une boite de vitesse reperée 52108121AB à* la place de la 52108121 ?
Merci de votre aide

Uh...english works much better
so this is a 95 with a 5 spd trans, and you want to put in a 5 spd trans from a 97-99 ?
More info would help a bunch, like diesel or gas ?
The part site I just checked says it doesn't fit.....I know on the auto transmissions, the input shafts changed for the t-case & transmissions...not sure on the manual versions

hello, sorry I thought there was an automatic translation as for me.
It is a 2.5Td diesel engine, it is a 5-speed manual transmission with NP231 transfer case.
These are not the same gearboxes?
What is the difference ?

Not an automatic translation, at least not here on this computer. I used google to translate.....
As I said, I don't know for sure with the manual transmissions, but the automatic ones had some shaft spline count changes between those years.
Also, is the trans you want to put in from a diesel also or from a gas engine ? That could be a problem as well.
When I looked up the AB part number, it had a check fit drop down, and it said it wouldn't fit.so I simply passed on the info....not sure why tho.
