Ok so today's update. I put a one way valve thing on the rear breather hose that runs from the rocker cover (rear) to the manifold. And I left the front hose just breathing with a small pod filter on it. Seems to idle fine and no pressurising and spitting oil out the dipstick. Hooooorayyyy. Thanks to those that responded with there info really made me understand how things work appreciate it. Next job on the list is to fix the exhaust back up so its not so loud when that's done it's time to Finnish the nitrous off and get the bottle filled. Ohh also want to do something with the automatic trans maybe put a set of new solenoids in it to make it shift hard or something. Anyone know any tricks with these trans's old Chryslers you use to take the sump off the trans and drill heaps of holes in the plate that was in the trans and it made them awesome. Any ideas would be great.

Not a Chrysler trans - Aisin Warner (you think it would've lasted that long if it was?! lol). I see you're in Aus, the AW4 is almost identical to the transmissions used in Toyota Supras. Not sure if there are any local tricks for those. At the very least your trans probably doesn't shift anywhere near how it's *supposed* to, so test or replace the TPS, clean up all the connectors, change the tranny fluid (Dexron III/Mercon) and do this: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/free-quick-fix-41821/

What are you using for fuel enrichment and timing retard with the S/C?
Did you put in bigger injectors?
How much boost do you have?

98 octane for fuel
Not sure how to do timing as the dizzy is fixed and doesn't move
Yet to put a boost gauge on it wouldn't be nothing to hi maybe 6psi

Split second makes a controller that works with Jeep, not sure the years it covers, but it can handle fuel and timing from what I have looked at.I had a blow through efi 2.1L air cooled vw bug I built and am pretty familiar with the turbo end of things if I could be of any help

Well at the moment things are going fairly slow as far as the build is concerned very bizzy with work at the moment however I managed to install the nitrous bottle yesterday and all the switches. Things still to do wire up the solenoids to the switches wire relay. Run the main nitrous line from the back to the engine bay. Buy and install smallest pulley I can find for max boost and then at least service the trans ill talk to a trans specialist and see what they recommend then get the bottle filled up and put it on the dyno. Stay tuned it will happen slowly but surely. Ill post a pic of the bottle install soon thanks for everyone's intrest.

The extra fuel needed for nitrous is covered with the fuel solenoid but still need extra fuel when under boost and timing retard when in boost and nitrous to be safe and not go kaboom.
Interesting project, good luck with it.

Thanks cobramarty I must admit I'm no expert but can assure you I won't be hitting the happy gas until its on the dyno and in the hands of someone who knows there stuff but thanks for the warning anyway.
