Bilstein 5100 sale

Just thought I'd throw out there that 4 Wheel Parts has a sale on Bilstein 5100 series. Four shocks with boots for $311.96 with free shipping.

I am only going to be installing a 3" lift how do i know what length shock i will need or will these work ?

In the ad at the link, it says that a rep will call you after you place your order to make sure you get the right length shocks.

Bought and installed my 5100s from 4wp last week. By far the best investment i spent on the XJ.

well i called bilstein usa and got the part # for comparable shocks to what came with my kit...

zone shocks were as follows
rear
14.7" collapsed length
23" extended length
front
14.7" collapsed length
24.7" extended length

bilstein shocks i ordered

rear
pn# 33-066868
14.88 collapsed length
23.84 ext length
front
pn#24-188197
14.98 collapsed length
24.61 extended length

they should be close enough right? the other option was like 1.0" shorter on collapsed length and 1.1-2.0" shorter on extended length from the zone shock specs....

i also ordered from autoplicity.com and it was 293.00 shipped.... SOLID DEAL!

i was going to order from you actually... but no phone number is listed on your site....

For your personal protection I do not take phone orders. The only people that ever see your credit card information is PayPal. There are far too many people that would love to get into your checking account and rob you blind. I want to make sure that they do not get any info from me.

There's a "CONTACT US" page on my site. It's easy to use.

SeriousOffroad 10-15-2014 03:12 PM

And no you do not have to have a PayPal account to make a purchase off my website.

This is why you should support vendors on this site. Especially guys like Frank, who run their own business. Autoplicity or whatever, couldn't care less about you or your order. All they want is your money. I'd rather pay a few extra bucks (not that Serious is more expensive) for top notch customer service and knowing that when I have a problem, he will call me personally to get it taken care of. Just my .02

Edit: I am in NO WAY affiliated with Frank or his company, I just happen to appreciate the way he does business

I typically do buy from forum vendors. I bought my SYE, rotors and pads, gears sets, and 4.5 lift all from forum vendors. That being said, some people like being able to go to an actual store, and 4WD/4WheelParts has numerous locations, and for those guys less mechanically inclined, they'll install what they sell you. Not that the forum vendors won't, but not everyone lives near Serious, or Baseline, or any of the other forum vendors.

Granted, I haven't committed hours to looking up details about all the forum vendors, but I do find it kind of funny, considering I live in the South, and in the third largest metropolitan area in the entire US (Dallas/Arlington/Fort Worth), that it's tough to find forum vendors located nearby.
But I do have a 4 Wheel Parts about 16 miles from my house.

I'm another happy customer with Serious. The unrelated tech support you get fem Frank alone, is worth buying anything from the guy. I've pm'd him on things not linked to a sale, and he's helped so much.

Buy where you want, but know there is a reason why so many guys have nothing but good stuff to say about him.
