I am disappointed it took this long to get here and the customer service is poor, but once we took serious measures they made sure the bumper would get there this time. Overall the bumper looks great and I will update with an install.
It just sucks that it has to get to a point where you have to threaten them go get something done and done right. I don't like it when customer service sucks I mean customers are the reason any company is up and running they should really fix that. Bumper looks good by the way.

Okay so you have to cut the lower quarter panels in order to get this bumper on. I plan on putting some armor on the lower quarters so that it will look finished. As far as mounting, in order for the tire carrier to work on mine I had to buy new bolts with steel spacers and move the bumper out about an inch so it would clear the windshield wiper arm. Only issue I have other than that is there is nowhere else to tie the bumper to the frame and its only mounted in the factory spot so I will add some custom mounting brackets for security.

I checked out that Roxolid website, they might be heavy duty, but their designs are more on the doodie side.

I've been to D&D's shop. Nice guy, they do work on all jeeps but I think he is an XJ guy, I never bought anything from them though. I'm surprised about the wiper issue & the mounting points.

Hey guys....I just read through this whole post and thank you! I have a customer who has one of the DND rear bumpers with swingout tire carrier and I had inquired about it. I wont purchase from someone with this much negative feedback.
A couple things.....First I work for fedex and if the bumpers were truly lost, all he would have to do is file a claim and fedex would reimburse the cost of the item and the shipping charges, provided he insures his shipments. So yes BS on his end. Second, I was taken by a guy down in Colorado by the name of JD Murray with Off Road Armor. I ordered a front winch bumper from him and, much like most of your stories on here, it took well over 2 months to get. When I received it, it was damaged and required some alterations to fit my 92 XJ and the winch. After many unanswered emails and lots of poor excuses, he suggested a second transaction for only shipping cost of $50. He was going to send me a set of sliders for my XJ. I wasn't going to put them on, just figured I would pay the shipping and sell them to make some money off his error. Well I paid the $50 and never heard from the guy again.
He is a swindler, cheat, and liar. So be warned, don't do business with him.

Does this rear bumper tie into the frame-rails like a hitch does? If not than the receiver and D-rings are useless.

Nates4x4 makes a great hitch bumper with tie-ins that are part of the bumper.

Yeah, those Nates 4x4 bumpers seem nice. Good price, and well built. Also Dirtbound offroad, JCR offroad, and B. Lee offroad make awesome stuff too.
