The best size lift and tire package for just daily driving

I'm sure there are several post answering this somewhere, but after all my searching i haven't found exactly the answer I'm looking for. I have a 99 xj and I'm going to lift it and put 32s on it, but i also want the smoothest most comfortable ride available. Im going with the 4.5 zoneoffroad lift with leafsprings, dual stabilizer and track bar. So for anyone thats already played this game, please tell me how much change in drivability on highway this will make and will i need to change the gearing as well ?

Welcome to the site William !

everybody will have there own best set up. I would say going 4.5'' then go long arm for the best ride if not control arm drop at min. with 32 you would be okay with the stock 3:55 4:10 would be better what do you plan on doing with the XJ other then Daily Driving?

Do you have auto or 5spd?

I have the same setup and you’ll want to regear asap it’s miserable . Also I’ve driven dozens of lifted Jeeps of all sorts of different brands and they all have road almost identically IMHO the big difference has always been in steering setups .

Probably not happening. If that's the desired outcome you are better off just replacing all the stock components with new. It will never ride like a Lexus no matter what.

Then 4.10 will be a good gear for 32's.

28 ÷ 32 x 4.10 = 3.58:1

Re

No expectations of riding like a Lexus i just read alot of post from people that hated the ride after a lift like this, but it seemed more because of poor shock choice and the aal kit, Thanks for the info i will go ahead and get the 4.10 gears as well, So best option for me would be the long arm kit
