Default Best company for leaf springs?

I have a 4.5" zone lift on my XJ currently and really want to eliminate the add-a-leaf rear. So i am looking into replacing it with a full on leaf pack, but i have no clue what company to go through to get a pair of springs that can be either 4" or 4.5" in lift as the Jeep has "extended" shackles on it.

I am torn between a few different companies

Deaver Spring in CA
Alcan Spring in CO
Full Traction in CA

Get some 3" leaf packs, brand of your choice. Pickup HD Off-road Engineering No-Lift shackle relocation boxes. This will allow you to adjust your height some and improve overall flex and ride. You can probably use their standard boxes but they add a little lift and would reduce adjustability.

maybe he was talking about Zone's full leaf packs. I don't know if they make them or not.

The Rubicon Express 3" lift pack actually provides 4.5" or so. Mine was almost 5" over stock when I first put it on. It's just barely easing down to 4+ now about 2 years later.

Never heard bad things about the real custom companies like you mentioned but I think they are more. Wouldn't be surprised if my RE's were from Asia. Not sure if Deaver etc makes them at home.

Deaver, Alcan and Full Traction all make their springs in house. I am really just looking to eliminate the add a leaf but maintain a good ride.(as good as can be with an XJ)

Thanks Fred,

I may actually go with the Rusty's. since they are on the cheaper end, and offer a 4.5" spring where as most other premade leafs are a 3" and I'd have to run a 1.5" shackle.

I plan on running the Liquid iron industries slider box with the 4.5" spring of my choosing. Which will not cause anymore lift from what i am seeing.
