Default best advice on tc drop?

Hey guys what's the best way to install a tcdrop. I tried last week and I broke a bolt right off in the frame so I just stopped and left it. I've been spraying them for the last week now. Now iam I going to need new and longer bolts to install a one inch drop? Also will I just have to drill out the old bolt and tap the new hole? What size bolt and hole. Thanks guys

I am guessing you broke the stud off flush with the unibody rail? If so, keep spraying it, buy an EZ out kit from lowes or some place similar. Also you will need to apply a lot of heat. Get it where its almost glowing red. It should come out then using some force. Your thread should still be good. The bolts that came with your tc drop kit will fit those threads.

If you have the tools then just drill & tap to the next size and make sure to buy grade 8 bolts. That mid west salt really screws up the undercarriage so trying to spray penetrating oil is not going to work very quick. Also I'd forget TC Drops because they tweak all of the angles for the motor mounts and shift levers. Okay for the short term however you want to install a SYE ASAP.

What do you consider short term?
