best advice for 35's on 4.5

Default best advice for 35's on 4.5

Well I just installed 4.5 lift replaced controls arms shackles proper bumpstops I am wondering besides bigger flares what else do I need to do to run 35s on 4.5 inches

cut the fenders high
full circle snap rings. muy importante

then you know. gears. my 4.5" on 35's ran me like $3500 (lift, tires, axles, SYE) just to be reliable in the rocks

You'll run 35s just fine on those axles. Trim your fenders and re bump stop.

Steering, brakes, gears, chromo axles, etc if you wanna do it "the right way"

In the rocks.

Op, what mind of stuff do you wheel on? If you're out riding trails and on rocks, you will need some kind of gearing, braking, and steering upgrade.

If you go to the mud bog and sink it in a hole, well you can get away with a lot less.

yep. I'm very proud of my write up on the matter. if you buy chromos you wont need to grind for full circle clips. so besides strength, that's another reason to go aftermarket

Well I don't like mud to much so it's mostly rocks and hills I am running d30 and 8.25 I had planned on regearing but it was lower on my list of future plans

That's a bummer to hear. Gears are necessary to run 35's
Your transmission will hate life. Bare minimum you need to run a cooler
