best 1-3 inch lift kit?
hello, new here, and trying to figure out best way to add a few inches of lift to my cherokee sport. its a 2000. i dont want anything crazy, just a few inches. also, i have read that sometimes lift kits require changing something with the steering angle?? is that for any amount of lift, or just extreme lift?

I remember when I said the same thing...... if you just want to go a couple inches higher, you have a couple options . You can do add-a-leaf and spring spacers, new leave and coils. For that small of a lift you shouldn't have to worry about steering. Just a word of caution, 3" of lift Will get old and you'll want to go higher.

It's true, there's no such thing as a small amount o lift. I went with a BB lift and I regret it. Don't go with spacers and extended shackles. These things are good on aftermarket springs and leafs but suck on old stock pieces. Get solid 3" coils an new 3.5" leafs. This way if you do want to go larger you can do spacers and AAL and sye and all those goodies. I need to redo mine not even a year later cause I hate it

its not that i dont want higher, its my daily driver, and dont want anything too crazy for everyday use. i still havent figured tire sizes for what can fit with a lift in that 1-3 range, so i have a lot of research ahead of me....
