Default Beadlocks

going to have to get rid of my MT Classic II's for some beadlocks. I blew two tires off bead last night.

what brands are good to go with without breaking the bank? I know I will have to get soft 8's as well. as my Classic II's are aluminum.

open for beadlock suggestions.

if it is a daily driver, you want some that look fake so the cops don't bother you.
i have had good luck with my aero beadlocks. they are a company made beadlock rim, not a diy kit.
mine are 15x10 with 3.0 backspacing. i run them with 36 inch bias ply iroks and air down to 2-3 psi on the trails.

It depends if your state allows them..

Enough on that...
You can get some company to meake your Aliminum rims bead locks. Check into Raceline.

For DIY locks look at pirate in the vendor section. I am running Rock stomper DIY.

Your last option is Inner air, or Stauns. Might be the best option if you really like your rims. They are pricey, but they are a double beadlock, and you can air down to zero if you like

Why would beadlocks be illegal?

Because they do not have DOT approval... thats why you dont see everyone offering them. I think Hutchikson, and a few other companies offer DOT approved rims.. and they have gone through the long drawn out process of getting that done.

Look on Pirate in the vendors section then.. You are looking at about 200 plus hardware.. plus getting them welded

Innerair lockers run about 500-550 for four rims and they are DOT legal, plus they lock both beads.

I have Aero beadlocks on my racecar... they are about 120 apiece new... some times its hard to get a good seal on dot tires because they are designed for thinner Hoosier race tires
