Default Bar pin eliminators

So I am planning to weld bar pin eliminator rear upper shock mounts on to my XJ. I am also going to do a complete new suspension that is a 3 inch lift. Partially because it is already lifted and I have no idea how tall it is. And my rear shock mounts rusted off so I am on 3 shocks and saggy leaf springs. Well I'll get to the point now. What rear shocks will be the proper fit once I weld the bar pin eliminators on?

I'm in the process of doing the zone 3" on my XJ using the teraflex bar pin eliminators. these are the rear shocks they supply in the kit. Mine came with bar pins already installed so I had to whack those out like the village blacksmith. http://zoneoffroad.com/zone-offroad-...-wrangler/7980 says they are 22.95" extended and 14.67" collapsed FWIW.

If you still have the rear swaybar laying around you can use the axle side mounts as cheap BPEs.

True! I did the Teraflex kit just because point and click was easier for me because one trip to the bone yard didn’t produce the side mounts.

Did the $25 Teraflex kit and a pair of Fox Racing 985-24-086
2” - 3 1/2” lift shocks. A little pricey, but nice ride.

Bleepin Jeep does a video about making your own bar pin eliminators. Good watch.
