Default Bar Pin Eliminator question

I searched the forums and I'm sure it exists but I cannot find it.

I've read that you can use the rear swaybar mounts as BPEs. Can someone explain to me how to do this or link to a write up if one exists?

Also I've read that doing this puts un-needed stress on the shocks. Is this true and should I just mount my shocks like they are mounted at the factory?

I did it on my XJ. No problems yet, and I don't need to worry about taking those shock bolts out again.

Thanks. I actually just came across that video seconds before I saw your post. I didn't realize it was a direct bolt on.

Check out my build thread of my 5 speed. I modified the sway bar mounts so it will use the original bolting holes but reduce stress at same time.

That is an awesome idea. Ill be giving this a shot. All I have for a welder is a little buzzbox that doesn't work to great but I'll see what I can do.
