Default bad gas milage?

Alright i just got a 98 cherokee, its lifted 4 inches with 32 inch tires, its got a cold air intake and borla exhaust with a high flow cat...it has a roof rack with 4 big lights and a spare tire as well but even with all that stuff shouldnt i be getting better then 10.5 miles to a gallon??? its got dodge neon injectors too i guess i just got it like 2 weeks ago

and i forgot to add it has exhaust leaks cuz the kid that put the muffler on didnt really know what he was doing

sounds a little on the low side... i'm averaging 18 with my 93 5 speed and 31s on a 3" lift. the 5 speed also uses 3.07 gears tho

Are you calculating the difference in mileage on your odometer because of you 32" tires? Unless you changed your speedo gear, you are actually getting better mileage than you think. I think you add something like 9% more miles to your total miles per tank w/ 32s. There's a link out there somewhere that has the exacts #'s.

Wow, just found out mine is about 8% off or around 3.5 MPH at my "average" driving speed. How do I know what size gear to get and is it hard to swap in?

oh damn well i guess i never really payed attention but even if its 15 percent off im only getting another 2 mpg but i was just wondering if it was normal lol

keep in mind the Jeep is about as areodynamic as a cinder block, but that does seem kinda low.

but i mean u do the math for the gas milage im getting im only getting 12 at max...n i put it under gps today n at 60 mph im going 66-67 mph
