Any cons to super duty swaps over Chevy ton
axels?

Diffs on wrong side

No cons at all that I can think of, the Ford 10.5 rear and Dana 50 or Dana 60 front are strong axles and they are much easier to find. The front differential is on the driver side just like on the Dana 30.

There is a con. The front axle was designed for a wider frame than the XJs have. So when you go to put the coils on the bucket, the buckets are wider than the XJ towers

The Chevy tons have many more cons/obstacles than the SD's. I can't think of any way the SD's are inferior.

Actually, yes I can: the 8x170 mm bolt pattern!

Super dutys have been around for over 20 years, there is plenty of wheels available for the 8x170 mm bolt pattern.
