Default axle swap question. I know I know...

too many axle swap questions

did a fair amount of research.
also couldnt find anything on CF that answered my question specifically.
I want to run 33's and 4.5 lift 4:10 gears.
Ive decided on the dana 44 rear.

what upgrade can I do to the front axle though?
can I leave it as the stock dana 30 high/low pinion?

terrain I want to hit is rubicon trail.

Should hold up fine. You planning to wheel it like you stole it or just get threw some tough spots without worry?

30 is a good axle for 33s. Chromo shafts if you break the stock shafts

I'd suggest avoiding the Air Leaker and run Eaton Elockers front and rear.
Simple 2 wire connection.
No additional compressor to purchase.
No O-Rings to replace.
No airlines to melt, crack or break on the trail.
No solenoids to replace when they fail.

are they cheaper?
and I still need that full open diff feel for freeway driving.
thats the only reason why I was gonna pony up for the air lockers.

I'll have to read a couple more reviews but those do look like an all around better option.
