Axle swap drive shaft help?

Default Axle swap drive shaft help?

I was thinking about swapping out my rear axle from a d35 to a d44 while im getting my gears done and it git me thinking if i swapped out my rear axle would i my stock driveshaft work with that axle?

Possibly.

The D35 and D44 have different pinion lengths, but the slip yoke will allow for some difference.

A sye and front DS would be a good solution. Look into the HnT.

Thanks, yeah i was hoping itd fit but if not i was gonna end up getting a full sye and front ds, thanks!

You'll need to grab one from an 8.25" equipped donor rig or order a new one from me for lots and lots of money.

The 8.25 and the d44 would be the same length? And if i eded up goin with the full syw id prob end up going woth a refurbed front ds
