Default Axle shafts?

I'm wanting to put 35's on my 99 soon and I'm wondering what axle shafts would be best for my d30 and 8.25. I already plan on doing 4:56 gears when I do it. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Stock until you break em
Then it's up to what shafts you choose.
If your stockers break because of u joint failure, check out the full circle clip mod with spicer 760x u joints. I just did it and wheeled hard the other night with my 35's 4.88 gears locked and it was fine

If you get chromoly shafts before you break your stock ones then you will have good trail spares

I more than likely won't be wheeling much anymore since I have no where close to me now. But I didn't think the stock ones would hold up

Just put 35's on over the weekend. I'm running stock shafts in the 8.25, & stock shafts in the 30 also. I've got a set of spares for the 30. I might go chromo's for the 30, but wanna keep the weak point away from the gears & locker.

I see your XJ's black, here's an idea of what it'll look like (5.5" of lift).

looks good. I'm hoping to get some and have them put on before winter but I have to do a few minor things to the beast before I do.

the stock ones will hold up fine as long as they haven't been living in rust. if you're not wheeling much then don't even touch it. if you're worried about anything breaking just get full circle snap rings or carry spare assemblies.
