Axle shaft question??

Does anyone know what the length on a D30 axle shaft is? Either side will work, I have came across a set that is supposed to be for a D30 that came out of a 73' Commando. Just curious if anyone know the length so I don't have to pull a shaft just to measure it. Thanks

This an academic exercise or you want to swap it? I'm pretty sure the Commando and CJs use the same axles, which are not interchangeable with XJs.

Yes, I was looking to swap, I came across a real bargain on a brand new set. I have found some pretty decent stuff on the lengths including the link you sent me (thank you), so as of now it looks as if they will not work, I may end up pulling a shaft just to double check. I measured the new ones and for some reason I cannot make any of the lengths that were listed work with what I'm measuring. Oh well I guess I will pull a shaft.
