Axle Identification

This link above is what I found. Is that for the front and rear or rear/front only? Just got the jeep (87 cherokee 4x4 6 4.0) and trying to figure out all the mods one of the previous owners have done.

Thanks for any info!

Haha.. Research this stuff man!!! Google, wiki, here... That guide is for all axles. Front and rear. Chances are you've got either combo: d30/d35(f/r) or the better d30/c8.25(f/r). If you've got the tow package then I think you'd have the d30/d44 combo.

I am researching, trust me :) There is just so much info I'm not always sure which jeep/year they are talking about and if it applies to mine or not. Using the link in the OP it looks like the dana 35c for both.

I just want to know how good of a deal i got for my suzuki vz800 I traded. I appreciate the info though. I'm trying to learn as I go.

All good. Just post a couple of pics. People will usually answer that pretty quick. Use the search feature here. It may take a couple of different search titles, but it's def. been asked and answered.

Do you have abs? Far as I know, the 35's had abs, the 8.25 didn't.
