Default Ax-15 trouble

Ok so I have a 1995 jeep cherokee sport with an ax-15. I was driving to work one day and my throw out bearing let go and blew up into about 10 pieces it was a plastic one I got with my new clutch kit it was about 6-8 months old so I replaced it with a new metal throw out bearing. When I put it all back to get her it wouldn't go into gear easily I would either have to shut it off and put it in gear or could some times get it to go in. I replaced the clutch master cylinder and the slave and Never got better or worse. I ended up buying a new vehicle so I could deal with this later and now build it up but I am at a loss of what to do I'm going to be changing the fluid soon to see if this helps. Also after it has sat for a month in my yard I can get in and it will go in any gear smoothly until it warms up. I am open to any suggestions.

Did you bend the clutch disc by letting the transmission weight hang on it? A severely bent clutch disc will not fully dis engage and constantly drag.

I thought about that but the fact that it acts normal when cold leads me to believe its a fluid problem but idk tranny is coming back out and sent to be rebuilt if changing the fluid doesn't fix it but it's weird that it all started after the throw out bearing let go

If shutting it off always allows you to put it in gear then I would say it's not a transmission fault but rather a clutch or pilot bearing fault.

Ya I'm going to be pulling the trans soon and looking very closely at the clutch components it nice to not have to worry about these problems since I got a truck this is the longest the jeep has ever been off the road or out of the woods
