Auto to Manual Parts List Needed
Okay so pretty soon (after many failed projects) im gonna finally get to swap my POS auto with no reverse and crappy shifting to a 5 speed. But my deal is im a complete noob and need a parts list of everything i will need parts wise to swap out my auto to manual. And which tranny i should go for. I'm going to be checking pull-a-part and local jy's for most of my parts.

Get the AX15 trans, The common manual in jeeps with 4.0l after 1990
Need:
Trans w/ shifter
Both driveshafts, might be able to get away with keeping the rear up need a new front because manual is shorter than an auto
Flywheel
Clutch kit
Clutch hydraulics
Clutch pedal
need to trick the NSS
Just saw you have a 87. 80's tcase's have 21 spline inputs and later XJ's have 23 spline. So if you get an AX15 from 90-91+ then you will need a new tcase or swap input gears.
