i know this is off the subject, but how do i post pics to my profile and how do i get an avatar. i also have no clue on how to put pics on the threads. thanks

I run off my android so this may not be too helpful. Go to "User CP" at the top/left of the page and once there look on the left of the page for "edit avatar" and "pictures and albums". As far as the pics on threads ? I use the app for that. Hope this helps.
