Aries 1043 Brush Guard

Aries 1043 Brush Guard
So I've been looking online to find a good brush guard that I don't need to buy a big expensive bumper to hook it to. I came across the Aries 1043, but it says it will only fit up to a 2000 XJ. But I have a 2001. Is anyone familiar with as to if there is a reason it wont fit a 2001? Like if the frame changed in just one year? And if I actually can't use this specific brush guard, if there is one similar to it that I can buy to fit a 2001. I really didn't want to put in the time into fabricating one myself. (Kinda because I suck at welding.) Any help is much appreciated. Thank you.
